E-Mail Paging: An email address for your alphanumeric pager.

Are you considering an alphanumeric pager but you’re not sure how family and friends can send you a text message? If so, then E-Mail Paging may be your answer.

With E-Mail Paging you get a complimentary e-mail address assigned to your alphanumeric pager, and it's all free as part of your alpha package. Text messages can be sent to your pager from any e-mail user anywhere in the world!

How it works:

Your free E-Mail Paging address is the last seven digits of your pager number@cpaging.net. For example, pager number 800.555.9999 would have the address 5559999@cpaging.net.

Vanity E-Mail Address:
Can be purchased for $1 per month. You choose the user name – john_doe and we assign your "domain" name as cpaging.com. Your new E-Mail Paging address is then johndoe@cpaging.com. Now all of your friends and family who use e-mail to stay in touch can send you an alphanumeric page by sending the message to your pager.

Voice Mail

This FREE service turns your pager into a pocket-size, portable answering machine by giving callers the option to leave a voice message rather than entering a call-back number. When a message is received, your pager will instantly notify you by displaying your paging line number. You may retrieve your messages at any hour, day or night from any Touch Tone phone.

STANDARD VOICE MAIL

Message Retrieval:

1. Dial your pager number
2. During the greeting, press the [0] key
3. Enter your access code (if applicable)
4. Use the commands below, or press the star [*] key for help

Playback Options:

• 2 Delete last message
• 3 Play newest message to oldest message
• 4 Play oldest message to newest message
• 5 Replay the same message you just heard
• 6 Play all messages
• 7 Play time and date stamp
• 8 Enable/disable your pager

Transfer to Other Modes:

Follow-Me-Roaming

Following-Me-Roaming (FMR) is available FREE to all our customers. To confirm activation on your line, call the Paging Customer Care line. FMR provides enhanced coverage whenever you've traveled beyond the basic Central Illinois "Home" service area. FMR coverage includes most of Illinois, as well as parts of Indiana, Iowa and Missouri. With FMR, messages follow as you travel.

To change FMR coverage region:

1. Dial your pager number
2. During the recording, press "0" (you are now in FMR mode)
3. Enter your access code
4. Press "3" to change the FMR coverage region (see region codes on zone map)
5. At prompt, enter the 3-digit FMR code (ex: 901, 905, etc.) followed by the "#" symbol
6. Hang up to end call

To cancel FMR:

1. Dial your pager number
2. During the recording, press "0" (you are now in FMR mode)
3. Enter your access code
4. Press "2" to cancel FMR
5. Hang up to end call

NOTE: While in FMR mode, press "*" for help; press "4" to play current FMR coverage region.

Fixed Messages

The cutting-edge feature is available to our alpha paging service customers for FREE. It enables callers to send full-text messages from any Touch Tone phone without special software or equipment. Messages are selected from our system list and activated by dialing an associated numeric code. It isn't necessary to contact us for activation. Just reference the message list of interest to you and go.

Sending a Fixed Message

1. Dial the pager number.
2. At prompt, enter “*#*” followed by message number (1-30), followed by “##.” For example, to send message number 23; the sequence would be “*#*23##.” The page would be sent as “Call me so we can make plans.”
