SYSTEM ACTIVATION CONTROLS
One-way controls, two-way controls, and status options. (Other formats may be available upon request) Systems include 35' of RG58 antenna cable and antenna mounting bracket. VHF low band systems equipped with unity gain antenna. VHF high band and UHF systems equipped with a 2-3dB gain omni directional antenna.

The VA-2000, with expanded message and format capability, includes a whip antenna appropriate to the radio frequency utilized. The unit responds to activation commands from Whelen's series of DTMF base station controls with a piercing peizo speaker, a high-intensity flashing LED, an easy to read 2 line by 16 character LCD message display, and a UL Listed AC-DC wall mounted transformer. Optional items include an internal speaker, 600ohm audio output, one form"c" relay contact. Internal batery and battery charger, mounting bracket (for under cabinet or vehicle) and a programming cable kit are aslo available. VA300 alert monitor and receiver is simple and easy to use CLEAR and TEST Controls. It continuously monitors local public warning system radio frequency and reacts the instant a live Public address announcement is transmitted. Commercial grade receiver Responds to activation commands from Whelen’s Series of DTMF base station controls. May be activated individually, in groups or by system “all call” in the same manner used for Whelen High-Power Voice and Siren Systems. Battery backup option typically provides sufficient battery capacity for 3 minutes of warning within 24 hours from the onset of AC power failure.

Ideal for small warning systems and easy to use, the E-747 Encoder aids dispatchers in quickly activating sirens when disaster strikes. The E-747 is provided in a compact and attractive desktop design for applications where space is at a premium. Features include; selection of 18 activation commands, system “All Call” or selection of 1-10 sirens individually, inclined keyboard for easy access and viewing, membrane keypad that features raised keys with tactile response, LED indicators which illuminate upon key selection, a command key LED that flashes when activation has been sent, a keyboard on/off switch and LED indicator and a microphone input and level adjustment.

Ideal for medium sized warning systems, the E-969 encoder’s four “Hot Keys” reduce complicated warning command scenarios to a simple two button procedure. A built-in time clock provides for “Time of Day” and “Noon Test” activation. The E-969 provides the state-of-the-art features and capabilities of the more expensive encoding devices at an affordable price. Features include; easy to operate sealed 26 key membrane switch panel, audio output, squelch monitor input and channel grant input, durable and attractive ABS housing, two inputs for encoder activation by a remote device with the use of a dry contact closure or equivalent and four “Call Keys” on the front panel for manual activation of user programmed command scenarios. There are also four additional “Call Keys” that can be used by the remote inputs and time of day transmits.

Control and monitor your siren warning system from a central location. The E-2010 Central Station Control allows the user to issue system activations and collect remote siren status via radio link or landline. With the included accessory software, you can connect the E-2010 to a PC for Windows® based programming and data archiving. The data is available through an ACCESS® database. The E-2010 supports all of the features that are available in Whelen’s High-Power Voice and Siren product line, from individual command selection to user programmed command scenarios or Call Keys. Features include; 16 “Hot Keys”. 40 auxiliary Call Keys, 2 “Time-of-Day” Call Key activations, 4 remote input Call Keys, automatic system polling, internal alarm tone, 2 contact closure outputs for alarms, base radio interface, security keylock, printer port, battery backup for time and date features, optional FSK signaling, rugged membrane keyboard and a microphone for public address.
