This allows you to enjoy the experience of an acoustically tuned home entertainment center at a lower cost than with customized systems. Room Size Parameters Typical room sizes are based upon clearances, aspect ratio of the projection system, room acoustics, necessary height as well as fitting within typical media and home theater room sizes for standard house framing. For example, two excellent sizes for clearance and acoustics are: 13' 1" x 19' 0" 15' 1" x 21' 9" Room heights may vary from 8' 0", 8' 6" and 9' 0" Other selected room sizes can be accommodated within the overall size parameters of: 13' - 16' wide 18' - 24' long 7' 8" - 10' high Note the ratio of length to width is critical for both the aspect ratio as well as the acoustics. A square room, or near square room, (16' x 18') should be avoided.
